Not a strike through. Looks like staining of some kind. John1

Quote: Is this a good coin? All coins are good. it looks like there is something on your cent. soak it in acetone for 24 hrs and see if it comes off. Whatever it is, it happened after it was struck so it would be considered PMD.

Yes, agree with the acetone soak as a first step. Are those 'woven' features raised, flush, or sunken (incuse)?

Looks like maybe was pressed up to some leather and left a stain. Acetone will tell all. Happy Hunting!

Looks like wet material with a strong mesh altered this coin in a cup holder. A struck through cloth would be a lot stronger: You would see where the material was not there and where is was there with incuse marks on a stuck through cloth issue coin.

Well, the soak didn't take it away, sorta improved it. I'm done cleaning it,it's alright to me

The little bit of soak shows it's something on the coin's surface, not stuck through. Part was removed, so a longer soak would remove even more. Environmental staining and/or discolouration, post mint damage, no premium I'm afraid. to the CCF!
