I have hundreds of common wheaties id like to get out of zip lock bags and displayed somehow. Flips cost as much as a common Wheatie is worth.
I see ebay has a lot of albums with 240 and 480 slots for $10 to about $15 each.
One lists PVC as the plastic and others just don't say.
Anyone try these and like them? Recommendations?

Yes, avoid PVC. Of course, ultimately, the choice is yours. Flips can run from 3-4 cents each. Flips--with a coin in them--can be displayed in a binder using 2x2 pocket pages. Yes, that's fewer coins per page, but flips offer good protection and they can be written on which makes it easy to catalog/document what you have. Another decision to make is what to include in the display--every coin no matter what its condition, or maybe only the better examples.

Whatever you do, have fun with it.

PVC will interact with the metal and produce a green slime as time goes by.

Only if the PVC includes plasticizers.

Which it will if it is soft. PVC is normally solid, water pipes for example.

You can find 3-hole 2x2 cardboard/mylar flips for pennies as well as 1.5x1.5 inch ones - that may help you a bit on optimizing space for displaying
