I would like to hear some thoughts on where this quarter could grade. Great Luster, nice and bouncy. Thanks!

I'm cool with MS63. I like the toning.

MS-66? Really guys? I see too many dings for that. Just saying! You surprised me with that one. I'm not doubting you, just surprised. What am I missing?

I realize it's a '57 but, that's still younger than me!

I'm with John1 for an AU-58.

I'm going with 58+. I think the toning pushes it and the graders would want to call it MS but won't, so 58+ is how they mitigate the sting.

Beautiful obverse!
Rim ding and a number of "hits" in the field of the obverse.

Probably MS63

Don't think those are rim dings, those are in the slab.

I'm at ms66, nice looking coin.

are you referring to what looks like rim dings? if so, almost certainly they are on the holder

HumblePie - always take the coin out of the holder when possible. it alters our assessment

I'm in the MS66 box as well. probably 65 but a TPG like PCGS love this kind of toning and would probably bump it

I always do that when I can. This quarter is in a PCGS rattler holder.

Weak strike. I think thats why there are AU comments. I do not see wear. Fair amount of nicks. Despite the great tone and look, PCGS can not grade above MS65 due to the strike. That's where I put this one, ms65
