After looking patiently at this for some time I noticed or think I've noticed the memorial on the obverse of the coin rotated somewhat, either that or some metal has been stuck in the die when striking? What do you think? Thanks Alun

Looks like glue is stuck on the Obverse and some one
has pressed the reverse of another cent on it.
Soak it in acetone and see if it comes off.

Yes, I'm thinking dried glue/crud. If you try the long acetone soak, let us know the result. Also, and accurate pre-soak weight might tell us something.

Cheers!
