Hi everyone,
I have this proof-looking penny with no mint mark. I presume it's a P, but it's deceiving due to its colour.
Also, I think it's a large date and I believe I'm seeing doubling in the words We Trust.
The coin weighs 3.11g.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Large Date, yes. Weight, no idea, no scale pic, Machine Doubling without seeing closer and clearer. And possible Rim Fin, but that is debatable amongst some

To the OP. You have, what looks like a nice business strike, not a proof and it is a large date copper. With the pics given, I cannot tell if there is any doubling. You need clearer, straight on pics of each area.

Given the weight and the pics, it appears we have a large date '82 Philly mint copper cent. It's not a proof, or proof-like coin. There may be a light degree of die deterioration/machine doubling--not doubling of the 'doubled die' nature.
