Help Identifying Odd 1982 Penny - Coin Community Forum

Jess1234 Valued Member Canada 333 Posts	Posted 03/16/2023 10:18 pm Hi everyone, I have this proof-looking penny with no mint mark. I presume it's a P, but it's deceiving due to its colour. Also, I think it's a large date and I believe I'm seeing doubling in the words We Trust. The coin weighs 3.11g. Any help would be greatly appreciated! It's not a proof, or proof-like coin. There may be a light degree of die deterioration/machine doubling--not doubling of the 'doubled die' nature. Report this Post to the Staff
