Decent looking penny I think. I need some fresh eyes on it please. Both sides have unusual indents and marks that I can't visualize in context. It just doesn't look right. The weight is normal. Do you all see anything specific ?

Well I think the biggest issue you have is that the date on this coin is wrong for a 1964 D cent.

I think the rest of what you are seeing are just various hits and digs that it accumulated in circulation over the years.

I don't see anything out of the norm. Is there a particular area on the coin that you're concerned with? You posted a '63 but your title refers to a '64. Did you post the correct coin? Just asking.

Sorry. Typo. 63 D is right. I can't get enough detail in pictures. There's bits and pieces of something on it. Mostly on the obverse. Reverse has more of a ghosting going on but just faint enough that I can't make it out. I'll try to get a couple close ups out to ya after I regain my focus. Lol Been staring at that thing trying to make something definite out. That's why I put it out there. I need to get a better image to you.

Just a normal circulated cent. Just face value.

Yes, a circulated example with post-strike damage.

Too difficult to pick up much more but it just looks off. Off is the best way I can think to put it. Mostly just a curiosity

I have rolls of BU examples. So they are a common find. So in circulation they are just another face in the crowd.

Just circulation damage. Might have a little pitting on the rev at NE, which might be from chemical reaction of some kind.
