2008, so frustrating, bought off ebay at a good price so not worried about losing the money, but wanted to fill an open slot in my album, the tracking stopped 3 days ago, it will be a post office miracle if it shows up.

Did the tracking stop somewhere enroute, or once it arrived at your local post office?

kennedy, don't lose hope. Earlier this year I had a shipment from Utah that came all the way here to Louisiana, out for delivery, then suddenly "undeliverable". Went back to Utah, then Denver, then back to Utah, then finally to me after 3 weeks. The seller and I were both filing lost package complaints with USPS.

I was lucky enough to get 1 Morgan O and 2 Morgan CCs in 2021 on release day. On my cell phone, even! They were mailed in Oct 2021, like everyone else's. Showed "label created, post office awaiting shipment". Forever. I thought I was getting a refund on them, but lost track of that. You wouldn't believe it, it showed up a year later, this past October, the box showed up, looking like it had had layed behind a shelf or something. Had a decal with the same tracking number I originally had, but a different bar code, and the tracking started at my local post office that same day.

I had a package go dark for about 2 weeks. It was not scanned when put into larger container. Package all of a sudden went live again at a major city near me. The transit to next facility is a default for no recent scans. I spent time on the phone with the post office. Was told they can see more than the tracking site gives you. Have you called them? They can give you more insight about location.

I've had similar 'go dark' experiences with the post office. Don't know if this applies to this particular instance, but do know that weather out west has been very disruptive the last few days and again a week or two before that--interstate snow closures, flooding, etc. Not to mention tornado activity across the midwest.

It is very frustrating when that happens. Over the past 15 years or so and around 1000 online orders, I've had many instances where nothing happened with the tracking for several days (and every so often, a week or even longer), but except for a single package back 5 or 6 years ago, they all finally showed up. Hopefully yours will get to you eventually!

All these stories are scaring newbies thinking about selling online. There are plenty of horror stories but the USPS does a pretty good job albeit with wild rides here and there.

One of the worst experiences I've had with the post office involved an overnight letter being sent approximately 60 miles. Took it 6 days to get there.

I had a pkg containing 4 2021 privy CC Morgan's shipped to me last year from an ebay seller in another state. Followed it with the USPS tracking Delivery Confirmation tool from the time it was shipped thru the day of the expected delivery. Met my carrier at the curb and he did not have the pkg on his truck. He took the time to call back to the post office and had his boss search the tracking number and the gps delivery coordinates and it showed to have been delivered at another address (same zip code) about 2 miles away from mine. The delivery address printed on the post office printed label was the same house number as mine but with a different street name. Both were alphabetically close. The post office said they would reclaim the pkg the next day and get it to me. Apparently, the originating post office clerk had selected the wrong address from the predictive text when printing the mailing label. Fortunately, there was a smaller label that the seller had placed on the pkg with the correct address on it. The guy that received and signed for the pkg figured it out and showed up at my door later that afternoon and handed the pkg to me. I was lucky! Before he left I gave him some silver from my stash. I was very grateful. The Post Office does funny things sometimes. I hope your pkg shows up soon.

I think our local post office people are great, they called me once and asked me to come down to the post office to pick up a package that was too heavy for the lady mail carrier, it was 5000 .40 cal bullets for reloading.

Idk if you have updated this I only read the initial post. Usps has been known to have issues and lag. It can take awhile but it should get there. If not, ebay sides with the buyers anyways, so you're good.

Precisely why I mentioned in my reply that I'd had one package never received in about 1000 orders. I agree, their service is quite good, but it can be a little nerve-wracking when your package is taking the scenic route to get to you...
