I found this 1995 P LMC with Machine Doubling on both sides but also has significant distortion of the lettering particularly on the obverse. I haven't seen this before, is this common? Thanks in advance :)

I'm thinking that extreme Die Deterioration may be in-play, along with the likelihood of some Machine Doubling.

There is a lot going on with that coin. Die Deterioration on the date and Liberty. Also split-plating on Liberty and IGWT. MD and possible split-plating on UNITED STATES the reverse.

MD as noted, DDD also noted, and quite possibly a bit of die polishing around the 5 of the date creating a skinnier number

Indeed - just a worn out die. Common for all coins struck at the end of the dies useful service time.

Machine doubling, partial Grease Fill, split plating, Die polishing and die wear. Just a spender coin. No premium for any of these events.

Please no monitor screen shots. They are too pixelated to be of much use.

I see Machine Doubling, which means no premium, sorry.
