I see a die chip in the 5, maybe one between the B E (hard to tell from photos) and the rest is damage

nice die chip, but then the remaining is just post mint damage. No premium over wholesale value of wheats.

Yes those linear marks are damage--perhaps from a ballpoint pen.

Harshly cleaned. PMD front and back. Nice BIE. Nice die chip on 5. No added value because of condition. John1

First thing I see is a whole lot of damage on both sides, and then one small die chip on the 5 of the date.

Agree, all of this is damage, probably deliberate.

I dunno @nss, I still think that damage from a ballpoint pen is a possibility. Much more important though is that we are aligned that the OP's coin is damaged in some way.

Can't tell without a closeup, but there is a good chance that is RPM-004, somewhere around stage L. Compare here: http://www.varietyvista.com/02a%20L...5SRPM004.htmI have Wexler's markers at home. The reverse die changed before the BIE chip was complete & VV just has that the crack is gone on Stage L. I'll look at the Wexler notes when I get home to see if there are any revere markers for the new die.

On closer look, the MM placement looks off for RPM-004. Sorry.
