when graded MS 67 or 68, they are quite valuable. Especially true for the quarter (MS 67 $125 and 68 $4,000+. -PCGS)

Here is another Bicentennial I just found in circulation, not pictured in OP. Pictures can't do it justice. Like new. Absolutely the finest 1776 I have seen. Maybe MS 67?

Wonder if we should be posting additional coins here, since we are beginning to stray from the intent original post. Consider starting a new topic for posting 'new' coins for evaluation (under Grading, perhaps).

I have enough for myself, so the ones I found in a roll last night I returned for someone else except one beauty that I kept for myself.

afraid those are merely oversize photos + overgrading, which often seem to go together

Funny you ask. I have a collection of 88 Bicentennial quarters. I almost succumbed to the thought of spending them since they are doing nothing for my coin collection having very little more than face value, at best. Yet, someone mentioned the upcoming 250th anniversary which may spark interest others scarfing up these quarters. So, I would say hold on to them and keep collecting them! (I never find half-dollars. How do you get so lucky? Do banks still have rolls one can purchase?)
