Using quotes around the keywords RAIN and CHECK reduces it to only two pages, but I agree that this one isn't listed on tokencatalog.com. I think that this is going to be a tough one to nail down, but how about including some additional information like diameter, weight, likely country of origin (and if US, then state), edge markings, etc.

It's 1 1/2" in diameter, barely 1/8" thick, weighs 10 grams. It was in a bunch of tokens from Iowa and Illinois, predominantly Iowa. I wonder what those 4 indents signify in the hair.

I think the key will be identifying the personage caricatured, possibly an entertainer or artist reasonably well known at the time. My first thought was Jimmy Durante, but he's usually portrayed wearing a hat because his hair was thinning.

Luck Cuss. I also thought Jimmy Durante. But also Danny Thomas.

Yes both have a passing resemblance to this portrait, although it looks like the dude on the token has a mustache. In my quick interwebs search of Jimmy and Danny, their head shots seemed to be devoid of facial hair.

Plain, smooth edge. Like I said, it's barely 1/8" thick.

Still cogitating on this one. How about Victor Borge?

Here's a link to one that sold for $1.00 in 2017. No information about the token other than the sold price.

The guy looks a bit like Rodney Dangerfield to me....
