they are - if you look closely. But on the high points of a coin they can get rubbed off while in circulation.

Humm! Never heard of roller lines. Are they considered PM damaged? Any premium or just FV?

No, it is not considered post mint damage - (Hmm 'pre' mint damage?) the lines are created when the rollers that are used to flatten out the sheet of material (copper in this case) to the correct thickness prior to getting the blanks punched. at times the rollers (top roller or bottom, or both can accumulate dirt and this is what causes the lines.
