Let me know what you think of this one. Was pulled out of a couple unsearched shotgun rolls. I can take better pictures if needed just let me know.

I cannot tell much from these pics but would guess it is misplace metal, just damage to the coin.

Can you give us a nice clear closeup about the size of the pic I have put up, a little wider area? Especially the area I have circled. Thanks.

yes, we need a nice close up on the bottom of the left wheat stalk (not too close though.)

I have one something like that. I'll look it up tomorrow and post a picture here on your posting. I looked it up in my archives here at CCF. Here's what I post back in3/24/2020.

Thank you, Do you think it's worth getting graded being uncirculated in MS?

It's customary to post full (full coin), large and sharp pics of the obverse and reverse. That way, we can better understand the overall context of the coin, and better assess a possible grade. Thanks

nice, it looks like there are a few of these 'extra stems' out there. I'm thinking a die gouge though

. Not to get it graded and that it's a die gouge. That's what was said about it back in 2020. It'd be cool to be able to check if markers match.

If this were double struck, the rest of the devices would be showing the same spread on the devices. (Rotational) But without seeing that on all the other devices, it would not be a double struck as it would show also on both sides of the coin. I'm thinking it is a die gouge on the area between the stem and the rim direction. Looks like with the heavy die scratches on that area on your coin, it looks like they we die polishing the die issue to rescue the die. It could have been a die dent. On die dropped on another die, that left that mark on the area in question. (Because that is the only area affected) If it were a doubled die, then the same rotation would be see on all devices on reverse die. So this is just a die event coin. Probably hundreds of thousands of the these from the die.
