It's not much to look at but that mini crater is bugging me, PMD or something else?

to the CCF!

It looks like a small strike through, not PMD. I'm not seeing any displaced metal around the anomaly and no sign of damage on the reverse. There could have been something on the obverse die when the coin was struck.

Let's see what the experts think.
