Good evening CCF. Just looking at a few old cents and came across this 1989 D that appeared to have a RPM. Problem is that I don't see it on any of the three sites so I'm asking for your opinion. Thanks..

Another indicator of Die Deterioration is the Ridge Ring, which is forming on the obverse.

When you see gray, that is the zinc under the plating. Not a RPM. With the plating split, the countdown for the coin has already begun. (split plaitng is caused by slight Machine Doubling movement during the strike. Never a plus for these coins. (Damage)
