I bought this coin from a dealer for 150$.
Some of my friends dont think this coin is genuine, and I dont have much experience in China coins.
Please help me out, is it a real one?

Thank you all very much!

This is probably the main reason why I don't even look at Chinese coins, there are a lot of fakes. You need to be a professional to buy raw coins.

If its authentic, $150 would be a good price.

Need weight to be 26.73 grams.

@cuo, first welcome to CCF. Second, please tell us if it is attracted to a magnet. If it isn't, then I recommend that you measure the specific gravity so that we can help you to determine if it is made from silver or not.

At a glance visually with the toning, it looks real to me. The reverse with the slight head strike showing is also a positive sign.

The photo might look like a poor quality genuine coin, but it also looks no different than a stack of fakes I have.
Having no helpful measures or meaningful test info, I'd doubt authenticity until proven otherwise.
A couple simple home tests could be done, unless the OP has no idea of what those are or has no means to do them.

What is the weight of the coin and can you post a photo of the edge?

The sad news is that these days Chinese coin market is filled with fakes. The picture below is a 1934 dollar graded by NGC I once owned. The other coin is a fake I found online. It is almost undetectable even by a professional grader.
