You should really post each coin individually front and back. From what I see however there is nothing here of value. Wheat cents may be worth a few cents each in bulk, but honestly the rest are just face value unless there are errors on the reverse.

@jac, first welcome to CCF. Second, as with @lcu, nothing jumps out at me as being particularly valuable in this overall shot. Best would be to start a new thread for each specific coin that you think has a mint error. Thx.

At least a few of your older S mints that are in especially good condition might benefit from storage in a 2x2.

Jacuzzijohn,

As to slabbing: a coin needs a retail value of at least $150 to justify all costs involved in sending it in.

John1 has said it right.
Value each coin yourself, before considering submitting for TPG.

Don't want to create a landslide of photos, but we'd really need to see reverses before assessing. Given was is posted, I'm not thinking anything shown is worth submitting.

The value can be monetary or just because you like it. You have a nice collection of different colors so keep them and enjoy.

Why do you want to grade the coins... different reasons have different answers...

1/ Protection - you want to encapsulate the coin to protect it.

You have several options.

You can use an AirTite (plastic round capsule, despite the name they aren't airtight and the copper may continue to progress towards its brown color). Call it $3 per.

You can use 2x2 cardboard holders (the white things with the clear window and stapled or self-adhesive). These give some protection (flatten the staples so they don't scratch others) and can be stored fairly densely in a cardboard box, or in a binder page. Maybe 25c per or less. (There are 2x2 sized plastic snap-locks that fit in the boxes but are expensive)

Plastic flips - these are heat sealed on three sides forming a pair of 2x2 (or 2.5x2.5) compartments after you fold in the middle. You can put the coin in one side and a small card with data in the other. These too store in cardboard boxes or binder pages.

You can use a DIY plastic slab - many sellers on ebay or CoinWorld/Amos Advantage - these are not cheap but can be stored in a slab box (well, some slab boxes) with graded ( TPG) coins. Runs a couple of bucks per.

You can send them to a TPG (Third Party Grader) who will verify authenticity, grade the coin, and seal it in a plastic slab (these aren;t airtight either). Most expensive. Call it $30/coin. ICG and ANACS are cheaper, NGC and PCGS are the most expensive.

2/ To sell. If you have coins that are commonly faked - key-date Morgan dollars or Gold coins - the authenticity that comes from TPG grading makes them easier to sell. Starts at that $30, but higher-valued coins need more insurance and have higher slabbing prices.

a the comments on your coins are stated above. its easier to win the lottery than it is to find a coin in circulation worth slabbing or even one that has much value at all.

the one coin looks like a 50S but its hard to tell for sure. if it is, its worth maybe 10C. if you want to keep any that one and the 55 since its wheatie would be the only 2. you could keep the 68S only because its in pretty nice shape. the rest just spend them
