I've had this New Hampshire quarter for a while but only recently got a digital microscope to take photos and now I would like to get everyone's opinion. I'm having a hard time determining if it is a worn die, double die, combination of both, or what.

While it is mostly noticeable on in "New Hampshire" and the motto, after looking on the obverse there appears to be doubling in "America".

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. It is only lightly circulated since it was first pulled from change in the early 2000s.

Mike

I'm thinking (advanced) Die Deterioration. Nice example. Consider posting full pics of the obverse and reverse--would like to get a sense for the coin's full context. Outside chance its a Dryer Coin. Full pics would help. Thanks.

I agree with DDD and not a doubled die.
