I found an unusual coin while roll hunting, but am not sure if its a legit error or post mint damage. the reverse looks normal but here is the obverse. Is this a legitimate error, and if it is, is it worth a premium?

Wow...that's a bit complicated.
I see the reverse design here--is it in relief like obverse details?

Nod, This is a very interesting looking coin, at 1st I would say it appears to be a rotated clashed die having plating exfoliating problems, then again, I wish I could see the coin in my hand to really be able to tell, what ever, for sure a keeper....

would glue explain the non-uniformity of the rim?

On closer inspection, the reverse appears to have some issues from 6 to 12 o'clock out near the rim.

It is glue. There is no doubt about it. A solvent will remove it.
Thanks,

I would say glue if you look at the surface of the coin you could see air bubbles from the glue
