I only paid $2 for it, thought it was cool. The reverse looks as good as the obverse.

Russell, I'd like to see pics of it out of the holder. Just curious.

I remember there was a company that offered imitations of U.S. coin rarities. I think they were available in unc and proof versions and were slightly larger than the real thing.

That's actually pretty cool for a novelty piece. Would definitely like to see sharper obverse and reverse pics, details look pretty good from here.

What's the composition? If it's silver it's worth more than that in weight alone.

Curious 'coin' this one is. for a dime - it is huge. Maybe if you grind away at the edges to 'down size it, you can get it to fit. But then how much would be left afer all that.
I'm kidding of course - don't grind it.

It looks like it may be wet and needs to be dried out so it will return to its original size. Once you get all of the moisture out it'll drop right into place.

Do you happen to have a 50,000 watt hair dryer?
