This penny seems to be a 1984 penny but part of the 8 is missing and it looks like a 1934 but it is not a Wheat penny so it has to be new. Any ideas?

I agree the 8 looks damaged. A weight would help determine whether it is a copper cent or a copper plated zinc core cent.

There's also a weakness in the last T in TRUST, perhaps another sign of some grease in the die at the time of striking.
