I just came across this coin and I have no idea what has happened to it. To my eyes, it doesn't look like PMD, but at the same time I have no explanation as to why it looks like this. I would appreciate it if anyone could explain what's going on.

Looks to me like this coin was struck from a very tired die.

Does that add any premium to the coin or just a spender?

Nice photos. Yes, very late die state. little to no premium. I'd keep it as a fun curiosity--nice example.

This one's actually kinda has an eye appeal to it. From the standpoint of, this is what Kennedy would have looked like in his old age. Probably in his 80's. L
But other than that. Very tired die. VLDS.

I like it for what it looks like, I would keep it. Maybe no value but it is a great example and in great condition for showing.

Radial flow lines from Die Deterioration. It does look cool, though. A weathered aesthetic combined with the clean metal. I'd personally keep it.

To me, the appearance detracts from the eye appeal.

I still haven't bought it. They're asking for $6.5
I love the coin for 50 cents but not for 6 dollars and 50 cents.

Oh. It's cool, but it's not six bucks cool.
