I don't know where to start with this one. It's not the DDR variety but to me it has some weird things going on. 1) Lincolns forehead looks gouged 2) Lincolns eye looks doubled or to me it looks like lips are underneath his eye. 3) The VDB seems to have decorative lines coming from it, like you would see on a tattoo. 4) Lincolns earlobe looks doubled at the bottom. Does anyone else think these things are odd?

Greetings, what I see with the photos you provided is a well circulated penny with many ares of PMD. JMHO

Almost looks like someone rubbed a pencil eraser over the obverse.

To me, all those ares you asked about have hit marks next to them which gives the illusion that items are doubled or distorted.

Could just be the pic but kind of looks like there is a northern spread on the devices. Take your time and get some nice, clear closeups of the areas I have circled. There are several DDO's for this particular 2009.

The picture that focuses mainly on the date, I can see doubling in Lincolns lip.

Thank you for taking the extra pics. They are clear enough that I do not see any doubling, just a well circulated coin.

I agree, I didn't see any doubling when I looked at it through my jeweler's loupe. However, now I'm looking at my other 2009's like this one and think I do have a DDO on one of them... I'll post pictures later. Should I create a new topic or add to this one?
