I tried to get angles in the light to accurately show the coloring... wondering thoughts on if this is faked? I have not touched or rinsed this coin. This is how I received it. And thoughts on grade would be nice also

@ker, to be clear, are you worried that the coin is fake or rather that it has artifice toning? Thx.

From these pics...I have no reason to believe this is fake.
EF-40/45 I kinda like the color.

when you see this dull rose tinted color on a well circulated copper coin most assuredly you have a cleaned coin

XF details (cleaned)

The photos look to be enlargements of low resolution pics, so it's difficult to narrow in on a grade--somewhere in the VF35-XF45 range likely. I do like the toning, but it could be the result of 're-toning' after a cleaning long, long ago.

Not worried the actual coin is fake... was thinking more along the lines of retoning or result of some chemical bath. Though I do thunk its quite pretty I had the feeling it would end up being considered details

An EF coin should be a little more on the brown side. It's an old coin, I don't believe it to be intentionally cleaned. It probably went through quite a lot in it's life but the color doesn't look bad to me.

EF-45 (barely), lean to EF-40
