Thank you oddguy! I like it too. Waffled/canceled coins aren't usually this cheap, so I snagged it before anybody else could.

This it is the most modern waffled which start to be use in the 2015. Interesting that go out in the wild. Maybe come from the recycle company because in the Mint facility those bins could not be open. Interesting and also a good example. The Price? I have no idea but seem to be very honest one.

I find these quite interesting! I sold most of the waffles I had in my collection, but I still have a dozen or so. I don't see any of the design or reeding, so I'm thinking it's a waffled quarter planchet. I had tons of waffled coins and planchets a few years back that I bought on ebay. I even had a Kennedy half that was certified as BU. The most interesting waffled coin I had was a Susan B. Anthony dollar that was PCGS certified BU https://www.PCGS.com/cert/14747762 There was a CCFPress post a couple of years ago that has an image I did of waffled coins and planchets http://goccf.com/t/393831

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. It's a waffled quarter planchet. Makes me wonder why the seller has it on the flip as a waffled State Quarter. Still a pretty cool purchase.
