Have bought very few of these but this one looked pretty good for $33. Looks like it has AU sharpness to me. What do you think?

@jer, others will be online soon enough to weigh in with their thoughts on grading. I'm just here to remind you to flatten those staples so that they don't inadvertently scratch another coin in your collection.

I'm thinking XF45. $33 is VF20 value so I'm suspicious that it might be Details.

I agree, flatten those staples asap. Also, always best to remove coins from holders before taking pics whenever possible.

i think its a tad short of AU. XF45. the glare on the reverse photo may be hiding something.

i believe I know where this coin was posted and can tell you that individuals that sell on that site post an extremely high number of cleaned and damaged coins to unload them. this person sells on that site but may post them on other ones as well. i

I bite my tongue every time I see folks bidding on coins there that they have no idea that they are not worth half of what they are willing to pay. be careful if you are looking to buy from this site. there are some legit sellers there but its buyer beware and I havent seen anyone offer returns.

hard to flatten staples when I don't have the coin yet. Looked to have more details on it than the XF 45 coins I looked at for comparison. As far as the venue where it came from I think most online auctions are a bit riskier than buying a coin in person and I don't go all out and spend a lot this way. Probably flip this coin to my local coin shop and if I make a few bucks then so be it.

I prefer mylar flips.
I'm going to call it XF45 as well. Possible light cleaning.

I'll say at least XF-40 sharpness. Probably XF-45.
