5 quarters - There are 5 branches of the Military (well 6 now) for a 6 year period, they could do each branch on a quarter and rotate the branches and show an image of something they have in their control, such as:
Year 1: Navy: A Carrier Air Force: The SR-71 Army: A Tank Marines: Elite Fighting Force Coast Guard: A Cutter
Year 2: Space Force: A Rocket Navy: A Battle Ship Air Force: The B-52 Bomber Army: The Green Beret Marines: Elite Fighting Force
Year 3: Coast Guard: A Bigger Cutter Space Force: A Rocket Navy: Ballistic Missile Submarine Air Force: The Thunderbirds Army: A Bradley Fighting Machine
Year 4: Marines: Elite Fighting Force Coast Guard: A Boat Space Force: A Rocket Navy: The Blue Angles Air Force: F-16 Squadron
Year 5: Army: An Artillery Unit Marines: Elite Fighting Force Coast Guard: a Rescue in Progress Space Force: A Rocket Navy: F-14 Tomcat
Year 6: Air Force: Another plan or Jet Army: A Platoon of Elite Fighting Men/Women Marines: Elite fighting Force Coast Guard: Another Boat Space Force: Another Rocket

Or, feature the most iconic roadside attraction in each of the 50 states--five states per year. Example: South Dakota -- The World's Only Corn Palace.

No disrespect to those serving. or those who have served, but I wouldn't support a six-year/30-coin quarter program with a military theme.
There have been quite a few military-themed coins in the modern US commemorative program that, no doubt, will be joined by more in the future. Though I wonder if there have been too many, I believe it to be a more appropriate forum vs.circulating quarters.
I have always supported the military and recognize the importance of maintaining strong US forces, but I don't think we need 30 circulating coins about it/them.
Just my opinion...

I like your idea more than more people on the quarter.
I would get a silver proof blackbird quarter!

Quote: The semiquincentennial coins are next. And then it's time for a Back to Mount Vernon edition followed by a return to the eagle reverse. It's time to pump some life into the Kennedy half, it's ripe for a 5 design multi-year series.

I'd like to see Medal of Honor recipients depicted on the coins obverse with the corresponding branch medal on the reverse.

We could submit it as an idea when the presidential medals have run their course. It could end up being a really large set! According to the Medal of Honor Historical Society of the United States, there have been 3,530 Medals of Honor awarded to 3,511 individuals since the decoration's creation...

Well, looking at the stats that jbuck put up, maybe they can do CMH commem for folks that have gotten more then one medal - that should bring down the count to a more manageable level
