Is this a significant tilt on these? Thanks!

@ene, the best way to show a rotated die is by taking a picture of the coin slightly oblique and in front of a mirror so that we can see both sides simultaneously.

If I'm assuming correctly, the obvers side is oriented perfectly vertical and the reverse is rotated? The rotation is nice, but will probably need more to garner a premium with them. Can you post up an image using a mirror?

Rotate coins must be 5% and more to have collecting premium for coins before 1999 and more the 2.5% after 1998. 5% and 2.5% was the admit Mint production tolerances.
For your coin is need here a mirror photo.

Flip end over end and take a similar picture that includes the staples. Thanks, Doug.

Thanks for the extra mirror images, you did well on these. And I think that you do have a slight rotation here ,but not enough to warrant a rise in value.

Yes those pictures help to confirm. Good to save as an example until you find one that is off by even farther. Here is a link to a website devoted to these things to help you with your research: http://rotateddies.50webs.com/index.htmlAlso, please remember to flatten those staples on the 2x2s. You don't want to accidentally scratch another coin if they make contact.

to the CCF Agree they are both rotated die examples and while fun to find no real numismatic premium. Save them until better examples come along.
