Hello all, I understand from what I read anyway, that the 1979 quarter was a crap quarter year and there wasn't any that had doubling? Sorry if I sound stupid as I am new to coin collecting..

Can anyone pls help me confirm if this coin is indeed doubling on obv and rev?

@cho, first welcome to CCF. Second, it looks more like this quarter has circulation flattening and was struck with a tired die. That seems to be what caused the extra thickness on some of the letters.


Added: I note that there are no known DDOs or DDRs for the 1979 D Quarters:
