ChowedIT New Member United States 5 Posts	Posted 08/11/2023 11:54 am Hello all, I understand from what I read anyway, that the 1979 quarter was a crap quarter year and there wasn't any that had doubling? Sorry if I sound stupid as I am new to coin collecting.. Can anyone pls help me confirm if this coin is indeed doubling on obv and rev? Thank you all for your help. Report this Post to the Staff

Spence Moderator United States 34397 Posts	Posted 08/11/2023 12:19 pm @cho, first welcome to CCF. Second, it looks more like this quarter has circulation flattening and was struck with a tired die. That seems to be what caused the extra thickness on some of the letters.
