Hello to all you wonderful people. I would humbly like your opinions on this coin. This is probably PMD, but maybe its some kind of plating error. How do you tell the difference?

It's a stain, PMD.

Thx for the well wishes--hope you are having a nice Monday also. I agree with @err that you have surface staining there. If there was a patch of missing copper plating, you would see a slight dip in the surface down to the underlying zinc core.
