Thanks for all the comments. Referring to the very informative website ngccoin.com I learned this Netherlands 10-Gulden gold piece is a 1-year type coin with a huge mintage of 4,110,000. Weight is 6.729 grams, fineness is 90%, and actual gold content is 0.1947 troy ounces for a current melt value of $378.20. It carries no premium value over gold content unless it is in choice mint state. I guess it's not inconceivable that such a common coin could be dropped into somebody's change jar and end up at a CoinStar. Lucky for me!
If I ever felt embarrassed about scavenging for change at a CoinStar I think I'm over it now!
