Mr. Washington is getting rather dark, small patch of terminal corrosion developing. Breakout the VERDI-CARE for that black patch and time to button up the storage a couple notches!

Interesting toners, thanks for haring the photos.
Since these are from a mint set they must be MS state, but certainly appear to be weakly struck.
Take a look at my other hobby ... http://www.jk-dk.art

If you Verdi-Care the quarter could you show us the result? I wouldn't have thought it would help that kind of terminal toning.

Quote: thanks for sharing these toners. curious though what is the climate like in your area? Typical Midwest, hot in summer, freezing in winter. These are kept in my basement which has a pretty tight temp range....and of course, multiple layers. And now, even more protection after I saw them continuing to tone.

Very interesting. I have this "mint set" from 50+ years ago still in the original case and it's hardly changed a bit. I guess whatever was in that cardboard for yours stuck around.

I like the toning. Too bad about the corrosion.

Interesting discovery. Though, as I began reading I was expecting the worst! Thank you for sharing with us.
