Datguyy77 Valued Member United States 349 Posts	Posted 10/08/2023 2:42 pm @john1 I put my phone about 5 to 6 in over the coin in a straight on position and take the picture with the best lighting I can possibly find and still see details and scratches of the coin because if I take the dark ones I can't see the real details in the pictures. But I have no idea how to change the grayscale on the photo when I'm taking it. I've never seen a setting on my phone that says grayscale Report this Post to the Staff

I just use the regular camera mode and take pictures cuz I know nothing about the settings Report this Post to the Staff

I really can't stand taking pictures of coins because it's very time consuming and I would rather just take my time to actually look through coins and find new stuff than to take double the time taking pictures than I did to even find the coin.
