As any one found any 2023 coins in circulation yet, .05 - .10 - .25 - 1.00 - 2.00 ?
If so where ?
I have been roll hunting in my town and from 3 1/2 hours away and no 2023's.

The only coins they are releasing into circulation this year are the one- and two-dollar commemorative coins (Indigenous, MacGill, Riopelle). They are not releasing any of the traditional reverses. From the Mint's website on the page for the Collector's Edition Special Wrap Roll Set: "the Mint will not be issuing any 2023-dated Canadian circulation coins featuring both the traditional reverse designs and an obverse featuring Queen Elizabeth II. Instead, we are offering a collector's edition of these annual issues, and this set gives you a Special Wrap Roll of each denomination: $2, $1, 25¢, 10¢ and 5¢, for a total of five rolls."

That being said, I have come across a few of this year's commemorative designs in my change.

Same here as well (Ottawa). Bought a roll of toonies and loonies at our bank (old raps), no luck. Also none in change from 3 stores. Lots of 2022s though.

There will not be any 2023 classic design coins released in 2023 except for 2023 dated commemoratives. The mint did issue this set of 2023 dated coins, I believe mintage was 150k sets, 26.95$. I also bought this set at a coin show recently and the seller said he bought full rolls from the mint and made up sets to sell, I paid 10$.

I wonder where they got the 1 cent coin from in the made up set?

The seller just threw in a 2012 magnetic cent to fill the hole.

I bet he had a lot of empty cases and needed to fill the hole to look good. My 1st thought was...where did that cent come from....as well. Edit: Answered while I typed.

He said it cost him 7$ for the cases so I was getting a good deal, I think they were leftovers like you suggest!

Now thats a nice set. To get the full set from CA it would be $12.55 plus tax and shipping.

I think the Mint was hoping to to produce King Charles III 2023 coins before year-end. Not sure if that will happen. I'm wondering if they are still minting 2022 coins for circulation this year?

My hope is for a 2023 "Classic Uncirculated Coin Set" featuring Charles lll this November or December. As well I could be persuaded to purchase a Charles lll proof Commemorate Silver Dollar if one should show up this year. I have the Royal Cypher dollar.
