Just love these error coins. Super strong eye appeal and almost always can be had for under twenty bucks. This one cost me $16.61 including shipping.
The seller had it as 1953, so maybe. It's possible it was found in a 1953 mint bag or similar and the date has just followed it around, or they could have guessed. It does look like a 3, but also could be a 0 depending on how you spin it in the light. A number of scratches by that final digit confuse the eye into thinking about a 4, but that it is not.
