1857 Flying Eagle Cent With Broken Wing Tip?

MisterT Pillar of the Community United States 2003 Posts	Posted 12/13/2023 05:29 am Have any of you seen a 1857 Flying Eagle cent with the broken wing like that found on the 1858 overdate? MisterT Pillar of the Community United States 2003 Posts	Posted 12/14/2023 02:15 am Thanks folks. I know that there were a lot of striking issues with the Flying Eagle cents from day one. Most notably the eagles head and tail being weakly struck. The broken wing I had only seen on the 1858 overdate as a die marker and never realized that other non overdate coins exist with the same broken wing due to over polished dies.
