Reviewing Bay listings and ran across a new one for an 1874-S Trade; unfortunately it has a matching obverse to the documented fake 1874-CC's in the marketplace. The 1st 2 images are of this new one, then obverses of 2 different example of the '74-CC in fake PCGS holders from my collection. The next image compares this '74-S obverse to one of the '74-CC's; the counterfeiters continue to mix and match dies for their fakes... Report this Post to the Staff

Slider23 Pillar of the Community United States 4468 Posts	Posted 12/19/2023 10:14 am Below is what I am seeing on the reverse that looks off: The top neck feather extends down too far. The font on the mint mark s is off and some assorted issues. The reverse is better than a lot of fake stuff coming out of China. Report this Post to the Staff
