I suspect some protocols for polishing out clashes on dies were ignored here but I guess by 1983 standards this might have been acceptable, ha.

Some of a double clash is still visible in bays 3 & 4 on reverse.

That's a good one! Very nice job on the pics, catching the different directions. The only year, in my opinion, that compares to 83 is 88, must have been some tough clashing years.

That has to be the worst or maybe best example of Die Polishing/Over Polishing I've ever seen. Or hope to see.
Gone is the sense of pride in a person's job.
