I have this 1980 p quarter that has a lot of doubling on reverse and I didn't know what kind it might be. All I could upload was three images but basically all letter and wings and leaves were doubled.

Machine Doubling is a very frequent occurrence in Coin Minting.
No added value.

When you think you have a doubled die, go to varietyvista.com and see if you have an EXACT match to one listed there. If not start looking into things like MD ad DDD.

1980 Quarters do not have any Doubled Dies.

Doubling is different because do not have collecting value, it is very common for normal Minting process and could be:
1. Die Deterioration Doubling
2. Machine Doubling
3. Mechanical Doubling
4. Flat Field Doubling
5. Abrasion Doubling
