This coin has all the hallmarks of a counterfeit, it is unfortunately just outright fake. Likely not silver, either.

The angle of your images alters the perspective of how the date actually lays. A straight on shot would be helpful.

Date position is wrong. All known 1893-s Morgans are far-date - base of the 1 should start past the 3rd denticle. Either altered coin or counterfeit.

Bump111 has it correct also the overall look is of a cast coin, none of the details are as sharp as a real one would have, after seeing many tens/hundreds of thousands of Morgan dollars over the decades, you will get a feel straight away based on the look of the surfaces, and this one gives off the fake look straight away. Here is a site that will help you to see the date posisition and mintmark look of real coins: http://ec2-13-58-222-16.us-east-2.c...-S_VAM_Stats

I'm curious what the seller's price is. You can buy these for less than $2 on the Chinese site, or $60 for a silver one, or $179 for one in a PCGS slab with a legit cert#. Buyer beware.

Paid 464 usd with a geranteey to be a genuine not a fake So my question to the auction house was what is your geranteey on this coin there answer was it is genuine so I am sending it from the auction house directly to ngc to get it graded and if it's a fake I will get my money back

$464? That coin is over $1000 in AG Details condition, over $2000 in VG Details, and as others have stated, the date position is wrong. Don't wait, get a refund now.

Look at the porosity in the date numerals. This is a poor cast counterfeit that should fool no-one who has viewed genuine Morgan silver dollars.

The other question would be "what auction house was listing this coin?"
