If its not a fake: it weighed correctly, it was not magnetic and if I called the error correctly. Would you suggest grading it and heritage auction or E-Bay it as is? I'm guessing AU58, but I have never estimated a buffalo grade before. I'm sorry about the photos its a new setup. Thank you in advance for your guidance.

XF45, but sometimes they're a little generous on problem-free key dates.

It shows the correct markers for a genuine coin. I have it at XF-45. Yes, please have it professionally graded.

I know it'll be awhile, but please circle back here with a pic of it in the slab when it's graded!

Looks like the real deal to me! Congrats!
Definitely slab worthy to be easily more marketable if you decide to sell it.. I would grade it AU 50 to 53 and may have possibly had an old light wipe or cleaning long ago. Still market acceptable and should straight grade.
Wonderful coin!

to the CCF Nice coin, I say XF range. Worthy of a TPG slab to maximize resale value.

to the CCF I'm in the AU-50 camp as well .... possibly cleaned? Having assembled many sets of Buffalo's over the years, this is one coin that I refrained from purchasing, as I considered it a minor error. Granted it's a popular variety, but there are many similar minor errors in this series; particularly so, the two-feathers. The overdates and over-mintmarks were far more intriguing. Market-wise, these three-leggers are quite popular among many collectors. Then too, pleasing, full-horn examples like this one, even more so. The majority of specimens I've seen lacked a sharp, full horn like this one.
