Found this 2014 1¢ FS-101 DDO a couple years back in circulation and got it graded, in which in received an MS62RD from NGC. I love this coin and I would never sell it but any idea on rarity or value? I pretty much only have population reports to go off of, but I'm not too familiar with those. (And yes I wish they would've put the coin in the holder facing the correct side)

Great find! These are hard to come by from what I understand.

Very nice! I do not think the price reflects the rarity of this variety. I'm gestimating, but would say I'm well over a million Lincoln's roll searching now and have not found a single 2014 variety.

Truly a rare find. Only a few of these turned up once the variety was found, and since then only a few more. In MS65RD they run around $1000, and a 67 sold about a year ago for a whopping $9000 making it possibly the most expensive shield cent ever sold. But that's because the registry guys need top coins to have top registries. In 62 you are probably in the $120 range, but hard to say as not so many of them are out there. It might be a fair bit less in an NGC holder though as most of the money folks are looking exclusively at PCGS and there is no guarantee it would cross at that grade plus the $40 or so to try and cross it.

But seriously, a superb find and a really rare die in great shape. Congrats all around!

That's a great find. Nice honest wear too.
I agree with tropical bats in his pricing opinion on it.
I did read a comment that stated coppercoins site prices. I would not use that site as an exact representation of the prices they'll sell for.
It would be like using pcgs price guide to sell coins the inflate the vaule a lot.
Coppercoins doesn't inflate the prices aren't well thought out, and after a certain year the prices stayed the same due to that area being on the website and having to be there but no motivation. To have close to prices they're currently selling for.
If all that makes sense.
