agreed...wasnt sure if it was a planchette damage or die....or PMD...and I'm sorry I don't have a degree in photography or an expensive phone or camera mr frog or whoever made the stupid comment about my photos...unneeded

Those are probably better pictures that I could make just keep trying and do not give up. Thanks for sharing your coin with us but I do think what you have is just a damaged coin, looks like it might have been around something acidic maybe even buried?

Post-strike damage, with a good dose of staining and layers of accumulated crud.

Curious about the reverse. The obverse pics seem OK, seems to show some altercation after strike.

WADR,the better the photos you post the better we can help you. You don't need a fancy camera or a degree in photography,just make the effort.
That photo is not the best and you have to agree with that,yes?
Tell us what you are using to take photos with. Make and model of camera and lighting set up and maybe we can give you a few pointers to improve your photos.
By the way,going with those pics it looks like some type of PMD but can't be sure because of the quality of the photos...sorry.

Agree completely. Just work on taking pictures of coins.
I also could not tell anything from the pictures on your original post.
