Curious what you all think of this one? Pictures were taken under incandescent lighting. In hand it is a darker steely grey on both obverse and reverse than what you see here.

Not my series but going from Photograde... F-12 seems about right? Maybe different/better lighting would help? Cool coin! smat

I'm guessing the color looks more like this. You can always adjust your color post-processing to make the color more accurate. Or you can use different lighting, or change the white balance on your camera...

@Zurie, you pretty much nailed it. I was trying to get a picture that showed the best detail on such a small object, have never thought much about using some of the photo light editing tools to get the color closer to what it actually is. I'll keep that in mind going forwards.

all depends on they would see the obv strike. I would agree VF30/35.

A nice Vf in my opinion. Would love to see pictures under natural lighting. This is my example of the same variety, JR-3, which is a R-2 variety.

@Germanics, I'll try to get some better pics in the next day or so in natural light. It's been raining and overcast all day today, so lighting today stinks. Your example is quite nice, looks AU to me!
Curious what any of you think about the uneven denticles on the reverse, is this wear or strike/die state related?

The area behind the neck looks like it was rubbed with an eraser. Other than that then VF+.
