The ebay screen shot was very small and I could not make out smaller details, but the coin looked like it was in VF condition and I thought it was a good buy. When I got the coin, I observed that it had the attributes of an overdate. split wingtip, die chip above first 8, tip of 7 above last 8 and a reverse die marker. I think the reverse right side is usually weak. Are there any other attributes to identify this variety? Report this Post to the Staff

Secondly, if slabbed by PCGS it would carry a value between $550-$800 depending on the assigned grade. It would also be beneficial to have PCGS professionally conserve the coin by treating any verdigris. This is the "strong" 7 variety. Grade, authentication, attribution in this case, preservation, conservation. Not sure if this coin would benefit from conservation. What's going on on the reverse 7:00-9:00?
