@pun, seems pretty interesting to me to have a thin strip of copper foil that came off of the cent. I'd save the two together in a 2x2. As to the doubling, which of the four known DDOs do you think you have? http://www.varietyvista.com/09d%20W...201964-D.htmPlease add a close-up picture of LIBERTY as that seems like the best place to make this determination.

Im change my answer to DD003 although in the examples I didn't see any heavily outlined in black like mine are in LIBERTY. So that thick black line around mine is throwing me off.

Very Odd Cent, I see what appears to be a Very Worn Die, 1968-S struck Lincoln Memorial cent. The Obverse shows what Could be Clashing of the Reverse Die and The Grinding Clean-up Remains.I see Small Clashes?, which appear around the Exterior of Abe's Profile. The Reverse would need Clearer Crisp Pictures to determine whats there. Thanks for Sharing, as far as a Double Die, MD

When I zoom in I see doubling around the chin, (there is a light gap between 2 black edge marks around chin)the back of the head has 2 lines trailing the back of the head before that big notch. And the edges of the building and the columns I thought looked double, as its supposed to be the 1st and 4th columns showing 3d. I also thought that the letters that are thick is a form of doubling. The shadows around them are wide and thought that was because it was doubled. I guess I can't read the picture books good. Lol I appreciate ya all being patient as I learn. So it would be worthy to send in and get verified/graded? So I seen die clash and some other answers if I sent in what would the errors be called? And I have no idea on how much I think it's worth as they ask that question on the forms. What would I put for that answer?

No worries. I did add the Liberty picture after I had seen your first post. When I try to send better quality pictures it tells me I can't go above 300k and the pixels are at 800 I believe. But when I get off work I will retake the picture again. There is a full view of the back in the pictures as well maybe they just not showing and I'm the only one seeing them. I put it on with the Liberty It looked like 2 posts cuz I couldn't figure out how to add the pictures after I posted and on the second post I forgot to add a title and a moderator added and I'm guessing combined the 2 posts together cuz I only see one now listed. Maybe those last pictures are being seen from that?

With these pictures I'm not seeing any doubling. Your arrows on the obverse are pointing out damage. The copper off of the reverse is interesting, I find a few of these every once in a while. There is nothing on this coin that would warrant grading. Sometimes you can be looking too hard for things that aren't there.
