This one looks fake. Portrait, stars, denticles, letters, feathers, everything seems off.

Unfortunately, I only have this photos...the best of the lot sent by the seller.
Looking side by side....I agree it's a fake. I may see it in hand but I doubt it's worth looking at

Crude workmanship. Almost didn't have room for the final 'A' in America.

Obvious now. Strangely, this is for sale at a 'reputable' coin shop in Italy.

Come on people! Give the ol bust a chance!! I vote genuine, matches LM-2 R-1. Perfect patina and contact marks for the grade. Photo is taken at an angle that skews the details. Quote: Look at "1834" and the slant of the "1" in this PCGS example. Not even close: Please edumacate yourself on die marriages. The date numerals, stars, reverse letters, among other things were hand punched or engraved on these early types. So they will not match up every time. Study up! https://518616078926146539.weebly.c...lf-dime.htmlQuote: Crude workmanship. Almost didn't have room for the final 'A' in America. Please do not roast John Reich. He did very well at the time and made the series collectible for our generation to enjoy to the fullest.

The term "edumacate" seems a bit snotty. Was that necessary?

Quote: The term "edumacate" seems a bit snotty. Was that necessary? I apologize to @halfamind if it came as snotty. Just an elementary term that I use at silly moments. No attitude intended, just goofy vocabulary.

Definitely a counterfeit. Here are two PCGS photos of a genuine coin.

Looks fake to me. As far as the grade goes, appears to be AU.
Errers and Varietys.

Make sure to post photos when you get the coin in hand.
