Can anyone tell me what the "op" is on this 1856 cent? It passes the main counterfeit things to look for (AM close together, '5'verticle points to center) Thanks for the input!

Just the copy stamp as required by law on replica coins. Fortunately this one has the stamp, many these days do not.

The C at the left of the OP, and the Y at the right end are more camouflaged...but tell this is a replica and not worth anything.

IMHO, to say this item is "worthless" is a more so a personal opinion than an evaluation. Realistically, this COPY would likely fetch $5-$10 from a novice who wants a conversation piece or a flea market vendor. Like 'em or not, copies are an unavoidable trap for many, but they are a poor man's alternative to owning the real thing.
