tm33040,
What are you using to take photos with?
Did you check all three reference sites before posting your question here on CCF?

Can you post the sites? My daughter (12yr) and myself are learning together. She loves collecting coins and this forum has been a great tool for both of us!

You can always go to varietyvista.com to try to find an exact match for any doubled die, RPM, or OMM you think you may find.

Also the "S" mintmark punch was becoming damaged the more they used it over time (never understood why they overused the MM punch instead of making a new one) and by 1970 the damage was predominantly being confused with an RPM.

Marve65, you are thinking of MMS-009, MMS-004, this is MMS-008.

Here are links to the one you are referring to.

tm33040, just so you understand, yours is not the re-used mint mark punch, yours is just a worn out MMS-008, look at the years they were used to match your year.
