Found this Lincoln Cent when the wife gave it to me, not sure what this type of error would be if it is an actual erro at all. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry not an error, but rather heavily worn, such as from spending time near a grinding wheel. It should be underweight.

Either a 1968-S or 1969-S, but as others have said, heavily damaged and worth 1 cent.
